But came to an "awakening" to the power of music in 1977 when 1st hearing Kansas "Point of Know Return" album, and the deeper cuts.
Became a full-fledged "Progger".
Been a Metalhead since 1979-80 and was witness to all invented subgenres. Less than a handful of those subgenres I don't care for, but I love well crafted musics with equally gifted musicians and musicianship.
Classical, Jazz/Fusion, AOR, Contemporary and Classic Vocalists, Soundtrack Scores are also faves (and bits and pieces of other musics as well).
