Jumping The Gap Summer Specials
During the summer months, a vacancy in 2SER's Friday afternoon schedule meant a second weekly edition of Jumping The Gap was heard each week - but with no talking at all, just 2 hours of non-stop music to kick start the weekend. What you get here, is 2 one hour mixes from a couple of those summer specials joined together for something different. Since none of these were podcast on Mixcloud, I thought it would be nice to upload some of them, plus I didn't have a recording of this week's edition of Jumping The Gap because 2SER was broadcasting from outside the UTS for the university's O Week, as rain threatened to pelt down (we just missed it) & the uni's breakdance club & water polo team (who were out signing up new recruits) busted moves to some of the hip hop I was playing. Without a recording, you'll just have to believe me, along with the fact that a Muslim prayer-recital happened midway through my set!
