Lloyd Palmer began DJ'ing back in the late 90s, leading to hosting two funky house nights - 'Fruity' and 'The Groovelab' - with his DJ partner, Russell Ashmore.

Amongst other venues, success led to playing at Kiss FM's former night 'Independence' at the Hanover Grand, along with playing for the infamous 'Bobby & Steve' at their original US house night 'Garage City' at Bar Rumba.

With numerous venues played in between, Lloyd's passion for soulful, funky, disco’fied house music continued, with a return of Fruity in 2024, over 20 years after it all began and with some familiar faces still in the crowd!
