I am the creator of 1200Dreams.com, a social network + online mag dedicated to DJs, dance music, and nitelife. Essentially, I like to celebrate and magnify the DJ, a direct descendant of the village musician, the purveyors of funk, the alchemists of emotions, they who gather and amplify the feelings of the people and give them the gift of music to cleanse and purify themselves on the dance floor. The DJ has this power, because the DJs are the Gods of the Nite. Or something like that. Basically, if you love dance music you know at the center of it all is the DJ, and I really dig that.

I first heard about Mixcloud when I met one of the brains behind it during WMC in 2009 and I quickly signed up. I use Mixcloud to post my own mixes but also to find and promote DJs on 1200Dreams, where we feature up and coming DJs and dope mixes.
