One could argue that a person cannot remember something if it hasn't happened yet. They would be wrong. If you have a big test coming up & forget to study... you have forgotten something that hasn't happened yet. On that note, it is important to remember the future. Generations to come will have to deal with our ignorance & from where I am sitting it doesn't look like anyone cares what the next generation will have to endure. We continue destroying our planet & consuming all resources while replenishing next to nothing. Governments keep solar power & wind power a secret & continue killing our earth with nuclear power, a totally unnecessary evil. Fossil fuels are limited & though we have multiple viable other options we continue to dwindle our resources to no end. People continue to murder animals for 'food' though there is no need. Monsanto is destroying the future of the human race as fast as it can (now bought out by and incorporated into Bayer) poisoning the very ground we grow our food in while making sure that same food cannot go to seed on its own to monopolize the food industry. We need a drastic change before the human race brings about its own extinction.
