I'm a bit jealous that you saw Zappa and the Mahavishnu live, for that you get my greatest recognition because only live music is the fulfillment of listening to seeing. I always like to be early to concerts to see all the vibes of the band and the artist...and when the concert was great you're blissful. BigLove.
I never saw Mahavishnu but I have seen John McGlaughlin and Al Di Meola separately... and Stanley Clarke with George Duke and Zappa twice in 84 (both shows at Wembley)
actually zappa at Wembley was 88 :)

There is no music at the wrong time because in the end the brain decides whether it fits or not. Very happy that the music found your brain approval and allowed Zappa to be mixed with Die Einstürzenden Neubauten.& the 3 Gods. BigLove.
oh, my english s not really existing tbh, you might got that wrong. I meant EB was a bit in wrong time for my opinion. Had the fun see them live 2 times :D Big work n big fun listen to this mix here :)
