Something about Harry

This session was a bit of a mess. Doctor Maya was missing, as usual, hope her attendance in college is not the same as of the show, she probably would be able to save the show from what it slumped into at the end. It seemed to start nicely, there was this talk about censorship in China, where it was revealed that entertainment programs are going to be banned over there, which seemed to be a bit far fetched but was an interesting discussion nevertheless.

The theme was asking to bring the topic of government control over one's life, what a state is allowed to do and what not, it was obviously was going to end up with discussion of communism but thankfully didn't. There was something worse to come up in discussion -- the latest Harry Potter release. I don't know, it seems to be an innocent enough topic, how the MixTape crew managed to bring to what they did it to in the end is a wonder, I think I'll start bringing ear plugs to the show every Tuesday not to hear what they are saying.
