Using TDS principles keeps your area in the black.  Areas in deficit aren’t using TDS.  Areas with a surplus have good TDS plans or they have a very wealthy donor.  Fully embrace TDS.  You need to get adults involved with your ministry and with fundraising.  Create an Adult Strategy, take adults to camp.  Get parents involved.  Have a God-sized dream and put it in your case statement.  Dare to dream bigger.  Create and implement a Thank You Strategy – especially in poor economic times.  Thanking is a big deal.  If it wasn’t for our donors in local areas Young Life wouldn’t be here.  We really do need to Take Donors Seriously.  Just use the manual and our collection of tips, tricks and articles all in the Field Development section of Staff Resources– To fund your area – just implement the 7 Non-Negotiables.
