Build Your Best Teams

This podcast includes:  Brad Layland and Pat Rhoades discussing how to build your best team with Chuck Scott.  Chuck was an NFL player and then he became an area director for 20 years.  He’s currently serving as Campaign Director for Carolina Point.  Chuck went from needing to raise about $100,000 per year to a million a year. 
 You need to know the right people.  The silver bullet is relationships.  It’s called “earning the right”.  Chuck built out 11 schools in Gwinnett County, GA.  Chuck builds great teams.  He doesn’t lead club at 11 schools, he learned how build great teams.  He surrounds himself with great people, and he’s been fortunate in finding great leaders.  Chuck invested in his own leadership when he got to Gwinnett County.  Some people showed up, God provided great leaders and he’d invest with them.  Chuck would have them do club with him until they were ready and then he gave them the lead and helped them pull together volunteers. He just kept repeating the process.  H
