I grew up listening to John Peel. He inspired me to make the kind of eclectic radio shows that most people think don't make sense. But if you delight in hearing new (or old) music you've never heard then I think you'll understand.
I also make imaginary soundtracks. They're for listening to while walking through bleak wintery landscapes. Or when you sit writing code in a dark room. I hope you enjoy them.
