Jailbreak 001

Jailbreak 001 - Unlike a recorded album, where days, weeks, and months are spent creating something similar to what you might hear on a commercially available CD, Jailbreaks are impromptu recordings that are imperfect by design. There is no planning, no editing, and no rules.

This set was recorded on Monday night, April 6, 2015. In a bout of insomnia, I made the decision to get out of bed and hit the studio to record what would become my first Jailbreak session. This stack of records was set aside last year sometime when I was reminiscing on the days of spinning progressive breaks. I recorded this set in no particular order. Well, actually…I played them sequentially using the random order that I had pulled them from my collection last year.
