This was made around about the time Carl Cox was closing Space-Ibiza with his 10 hour marathon set. It starts with a funky floor-filler (Mind & Body - Discrete), travels to one of my favourite feel-good-tunes of this year, 'Joey Chicago - Feels So Good'. A house-y vocal sample links the funk to the depths of techno, where Stephan Bodzin, Danny Daze and Alcatraz make an entrance.
It gets quite heavy at 'Paul Kalkbrenner - Steinbeisser' but the inspiration came from when it was played at this EPIC venue in Turin:
