Laura Macaulay is the publisher of Daunt books — an independent press that is actually part of a full spectrum publishing operation, because it also includes bookstores. It's from this unique vantage point that she and her colleagues get to hear from and connect with readers. It is, after all, about readers, and reading, in the midst of and at the end of all this writing and publishing.
