#05: Katie Shepherd

There’s lots of tips and tricks and life hacks to help you get on your way with your writing project — all helpful, to some degree, but also, sometimes they ring false and seem a bit shallow. It takes a lot to write that book, and there are bigger issues at play about why a book might not actually get written. Katie Shepherd, along with her co-producer Bridget Hickey, are delving into this subject through an audio documentary called Our Unwritten Books, which "explores the challenges faced by women in the literary world." In this episode of Writing Drafts, Katie talks about her experiences and how the idea for the project came to be.
