Audiometric-Paris vs Wreck this Mess-Amsterdam

20 October 2007 in Paris / Montreuil. A ping-pong audio experiment between Wreck & Black Sifichi for Oct. 2007 broadcast on Aligre FM [Paris] as well as several other French alternative stations. With MC Pal2 present. The playlist seems lost but the sound is compelling and consists of a wild mix of ambient, dark dub, hypno glitch, minimal techno, and numerous anomalous genres of music, spoken word, poesie, disjointed and rejected audio, missing pieces, incidental shards of sound, sample slivers shimmer and shiver across the spectrum:

On the Street > Shelley Hirsch / Robert Anton Wilson / Wild Shores / Electronic Voice Phenomena > Raymond Cass / 6-Minute Drown > Jack Goldstein / Psychic Tension > Alan Watts / Collapse into Pseudo-Magic > Hakim Bey vs Vladimir Muzhevsky / Coloured Lights > Andrew Duke vs Souns / Insanity > Polyphake / Midnight Moonbeams > Sifichi & Strings of Conciousness / Vladislav Delay / Coldcut +Annette Peacock

I first heard this in San Francisco during the Ministry of Rum in 2010. It blasted me back to the mid-80's when I used to tape Wreck this Mess for in car listening pleasure. Sophisticated, challenging, and not for everyone. When people ask me what kind of music I like- usually I just say- not popular culture.
