Originally played with the exact same tracklist at the Secret Garden back in February by WobbleWombat, this is my first drum & bass set. Leaning heavily into Black Sun Empire's futuristic neurofunk sound, most tracks are from their label Blackout. D&B has its own mixing style with lots of cuts, fast transitions and double drops; it required a lot of patience to perfect the sound here and I spent much of it experimenting with effects.
WobbleWombat tells me that the next d&b set will focus on the more abstract and hypnotic side of the genre.
