A selection for the late autumn with the feeling of frayed circuitry, muted sparks, dim twinkles and soft collisions revealing unsuspected absences and deceptive presence. To my ear these songs fall nicely into the ‘loud calm sounds’ and ‘dream noise’ zone. Loud not necessarily for volume or sound, but rather emotional impact. Noise for its sometimes imperceptible source or imperfect presence, leading to temporary confusion or maybe even clarity.
