This month we bring you a highly personal mix from our friend, DJ and New Orleans Airlift collaborator, Melissa McWilliams aka Boi Toi. In her own words, she writes that her mix is—
… a guided journey through my 27th year, the year of my Saturn return. Every song has a purpose and a space, every transition has a purpose. Some things are mixed, some things are not. The intention is not to show off my mixing skills but put together a cohesive sequence of songs that most fully represents my past year’s journey. I have specifically chosen to include songs by native Texas DJs/producers, as well as, showcase current work by my friends and collaborators. I hope all will enjoy and come away with some piece of me.
