This month we bring you bring you TWO [2] mixtapes from our friends, Belong. The New Orleans based duo Mike Jones and Turk Dietrich have been producing music together for the better half of the last ten years. They have a variety of releases on such renowned labels as Kranky, Carpark and Table Of The Elements.
Their new record, 'Common Era', was released earlier this year on the Chicago imprint, Kranky, and includes, for the first time, pop songwriting elements. Their releases cover an array of styles from ambient to noise to motorik pop ….. all of it recorded and produced in their home studio. They are currently working on new Belong material in addition to the work they are each doing on new side projects.
