Shifting gears with a disco show. Start off with Australian Bacardi add that was supposed to be played in the discos c. 1979, we run through some classics, some deep cuts and a couple of oddities; lot of mixes by disco pioneers Tom Moulton and John Luongo. "Supernature" by Cerrone is not your typical disco track; it is downright menacing with lyrics written by Lene Lovich. On the other end of the spectrum is "King Kong" by Sandy O'Neil aka Sandii. Japanese disco tracks had a habit of using European and American sounding aliases for writing, performing and producing credits. "King Kong" was originally a German disco number. Dan Hartman started out in Edgar Winter Group and wrote "Free Ride" before going solo and turning disco.
