Ah yes D mate ... proper loved this. Loads of big choons here bud and as Shane says that little gem at the end was a proper unexpected gift. Quality session mate! ;)
cheers loads Jay good to hear from you mate,I really enjoyed mixing this session, not heard a lot of these tracks myself for quite sometime so digging them out and enjoying them, well you know yourself I'm sure with your vinyl vaults series... talking of which been a while since we've had some goodness from you 😉 do hope ur well pal, until soon me hopes ✊💣🎼💥
It was cool, thanks to your fine show, Daryll, to be a fly on the wall for a scene I wasn’t a part of; in the “mid noughties” I was hangin’ out at the Rock Island in Wichita, Kansas catchin’ some up-and-coming bands of the times.
Love that classic ending! For whatever reason, I had not heard this version before. I was only familiar with the NIN version (which I knew was a cover); great to hear something that influenced Trent back in the day.
Hope your “hump day” was great (and after I typed that, I realized how fitting this show is for this particular day of the week); it's all downhill from here!

Icywtk, I only use facebook as a necessary evil to make sure the grandmothers of my children are appeased with random photos at random times of said children. I suppose if they had left any of those posts “un-liked”, I would have been rather peeved, a bit miffed and a tad cross.
: D
LULZ thank you very much indeed LHM, I never knew NIN did a cover of that I'll have to check it out... love ya work mate ✊
P.S. Big ups to Deb for the cool cover too!!
Hi Daryll mate! Great work mate. Full of movement this one and keeps on grabbing the ears every time you introduced a new track. Lots of layers of sound, peaks and valleys and cool track choices! You saved a big surprise for the end finishing off with 'Physical' by Adam and the Ants!!! I love it when a mix ends with something a bit different from the norm and this was a really cool choice!! Top stuff mate, thanks for sharing!
cant thank you enough Shane, Ive had all the listens and comments from those that count now, honest guv you completed my set, my work here is done, super stoked you took the time to enjoy this, that last track was a bit special to me, if only cuz I always try to stick an obscure favourite on the end of my mixes but to doesn't always work lol... until soon mate
D
This was very cool Daryll and the perfect choice to kick off my morning. If these are all old tunes then I was at the wrong clubs as I didn't really know any of them, but thought they were ace. And the overdubs were very impressively added and suited the whole set to give it a nice recurrent theme throughout. My fave set of yours for sure. 👍👍👍
I didn't catch any track titles though as the voices in my head kept warning me off looking at my phone or using facebook etc.
Excellent work pal. Much respect. 😊🤟🤟
LOL I vey much doubt that Stuart mate I'm prob a just a "fraction" older than you.... although I'm also very happy to be wrong about that 🤣 seriously though mate thanks for checking this out its not everyone's cup of tea and listening back had me chuckling that this kind of stuff was pressed to vinyl..... glad it was tho, if this really was ur fave of mine,, I'll take that from a mixcloud stalwart......cheers mate ✊
