The perk of being a Tulum Wedding DJ is that your clients like to do things a bit different. The couple had traveled the world going to shows and festivals – including multiple stints in Ibiza. Their music knowledge was deep. They had a clear vision for their Tulum wedding. They wanted a “Jungle Disco”, which musically consisted of cross-generational disco classics, disco house, 90’s house, and newer tech house.
They sent me a few playlists and I was in heaven. It contained a lot of Dimitri from Paris disco edits, some Frankie Knuckles, some classics like A Taste of Honey and Jamiroquai, some stuff I’d never even heard of, some Avicii for nostalgia, and a Rick Roll for good measure.
From that creative brief, this Jungle Disco mix was born. This starts with classic disco, begins to escalate with disco house, and ends with a tech house and EDM finale. This is a live recording of the last hour of the night.
