Inspired by Ayush Attri Sharma's ventures into Maha-mantra pop styles and the production values of Tat Purusha from his recordings with Gaura Vani Buchwald I recorded a new Maha Mantra melody. I must admit I was happy with the simple heartfelt melody when it arose out of the harmonium one fine day- but I wondered what it would sound like with a backing track of a 90's US cop movie soundtrack. So here it is!

awesome melody
As I finally started coming close, six hours late, to Mumbai this morning after 38 hours on a train from Kolkata I found this track on my computer and put on earphones and watched as the scene of Mumbai city outside dissolved into a blur of motion far below the plane of the holy name. The beat timed with the clack of the train and I felt propelled by Sri Nama Prabhu into the arms of His service. I stepped off into Mumbai feeling light and joyful.
