These weeks just seem to be flying by, maybe stick this on while you're driving to work or busy at work! I kept hearing there was going to be a two week heatwave in August, now I'm not so sure.

Thank you for the Y.M.O.! I also want to thank you for all of your playlists, they've really been keeping my spirits up since I started listening.
If you're enjoying YMO, I'd definitely recommend checking out any of the members solo work from after YMO ended. Ryuichi Sakamoto has put out lots of great piano and ambient electronic records, Haruomi Hosono has done a load of great stuff, I like his albums Hosono House and Paraiso.
Yes, I love Ryuichi Sakamoto! I found out about him (and then YMO) after listening to a song from Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence back in 1986 or so. But Haruomi Hosono is new to me as are many of your Japanese songs.
perfect concept and realization ❤
special thanks for hanks for Aphrodite's Child' song 😃✅
Thank you! I do love that album 666 by them, such a classic.
- you've heard the Jane's Addiction version of this Velvet Underground song, right? So good. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMaiCc_5jeU&ab_channel=RickLaVallee)
- The Grodeck Whipperjenny is an absolute first-ballot hall of fame band name.
- I love Brazil. Weeeird, but in a good way.
- Good show, Lloyd. Started Psychedelic, then went Disco, then finished with some jazz. Nice work.
I had not heard this cover, thanks for bringing it to my attention! Grodeck Whipperjenny to me sounds like one of those early psych bands that try to do out do each other with ridiculous names, some of my favourites -
The Chocolate Watchband
The Electric Prunes
The Balloon Farm
The Human Beinz
