DJ On-E * Live at System 3 (unknown date/venue)
On-E is one of my top 5 favorite DJs, based on just one side of a mixtape (On-E/Dmitry 1994 - u know the one) - and the one live gig I was lucky enough to catch here in DC back in 1996. The party was Census, and On-E dropped the wickedest set of instrumental hip-hop & breaks on the rooftop of Lamont St. warehouse as the sun was coming up.
This mix here - close to perfect and very much brings me back to that time/place when everything was all so simple.... big ups Ani Quinn.

Nikademus Jiggi Krause

R.I.P JTotty1123. I took him to this party. It was indeed at the Packard; the one he played upstairs at Saint Andy's was a jungle set. I was actually just talking about it last week ... I was so excited to finally hear him spin jungle/d&b and I accidentally snorted a whole. fat 20 of k just as he started. I couldn't even get off the ground for like half the set. Hahahahhah.

do u have a link to the on-e / dmitry tape u referenced in the description?

Okay so this venue was at the Packard plant. Back in late 90's, was my first party. Twas a good one needless to say. I do have to say the poster is wrong it's not On-E its actually Dj Ani from Dee Lite. But I need a copy of this please how do I get,

Ray Dietrick

Same person. He changed his name from On-E to Ani

Kerry Walker

Takes me back to a good place...

Timothy Cary

PS, I'm not sure of the venue, but it was in Detroit circa 1996-97.

Just have to are my hero. I've been searching for this mix for the last 15 years or so, and it's so amazing to actually hear it. Even though the Run-DMC vs. Jason Nevins track at the beginning is missing. Thank you!!!

Michael Alan Rogers

this was the party at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit maybe 97

it was upstairs. I think this was the party that my girlfiend at the time lost her mind a little. soon after this party she became a parole officer
