recently when i was somewhere else i made my wishes for a new club to come in my mind that did not exist. one that was not only free of egos and stale nostalgia but one where music i had never heard was played all of the time. while i have heard this music before i like to pretend that this is club music made in anti-matter- a place we have yet to conceptualize. i changed my name. i scalped back the parts of my brain that were held onto something that no longer served me but no longer served everyone. and through lots of time somewhere else i became Vera Rubin.
