Proverbs tells us that wisdom is a treasure worth seeking. If you think about the means that people go through to find treasure. True treasure hunters are a rare breed. They will go to extreme measures to find the treasure. Throughout history people have search, sometimes giving up their entire fortunes, to find some treasure. Consider the gold rushes of the past. When was the last time you dug through the scriptures looking for treasure? Many will study the ways of the world in order to be wise. But there is a difference in the wisdom of the world and the wisdom of God. It is very important that we understand the difference in wisdom from above and wisdom from below.
