The May Dozen

This month's dozen kicks off with an acoustic number from Mungo's, a nice change up from their more dancefloor focussed stuff. There's hip hop from Thunderbird Gerad and my bro Illaman features with a track off his WonkyFace EP, pick that up it's a free download. The man like J*Star has re-released one of my favourite of his old reggae booties on his soundcloud so grab that Missy dub while you can. The Congo Natty album dropped, the track here is one he's been rinsing at live shows for a while featuring my homegirl Nanci and legends Daddy Freddy and Tenor Fly. There's a freestyle from my favourite dancehall MCs - Ward21, a beauty of a remix from Captain Planet that's definitely seeing some Disco Shed spins this Summer. The new Dabbla single is fire and leads into a couple of cuts off the excellent new Big Dada grime comp. Rounding things off with a DjembaDjemba remix. Hello Summer...sort of.
