The Fire Within

Well... It's been a while. I don't really have a reason for taking so long to post something. I've been making mixes with Audio Theory a bit. Playing sets in public... but for some reason, the desire to record my own mixes was replaced by other aspects of my life. I lost that fire inside for a bit. Some of it is burnout, some of it is being distracted by other things. I continued to buy and listen to the music, and I still love it. Even while recording this, I couldn't help but dance and sing. Trying times pushed me back to it. I needed to create something again. I always do my best mixes when really stressed. Maybe this one is one of those.

This set is me trying to find the fire within again. I believe that it may have dimmed, but it was never extinguished.

It is a journey into darkness with the hope of coming out into the light, like the phoenix rising from the ashes. The fire within, driving that hope that things will once again be as they were.
