Rising is a mix built around a simple idea - music that lifts slowly and deliberately, gathering weight before finding somewhere to rest. It moves through the drift of Loscil and Susumu Yokota, the mechanics of Autechre and Monolake, and the ambience of Steve Roach and Brian Eno. It ends where I hope it should.
