The idea for this mixtape was born as I was writing my sabbatical proposal and reading student-produced public scholarship on sustainable development, inclusion, and forest rights. I feature newly imagined music from Mulatu Astatke & Black Jesus Experience, Oumou Sangaré, Akiko Yano, Issam Hajali, and Dudu Pukwana.
