Immigrant?

In the wake of the most recent travel ban we issue a mixtape. We sample music from nomads, denizens, immigrants, and allies, with speeches by Noam Chomsky, Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche, and James Baldwin. We ask you to reimagine the distant and the familiar, to, as Baldwin says, “have the humility to make the descent” so that your “doings” match your “being”. We need to shift the discourse to understand movement as primordial. Nietzsche suggests, “And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music”.
