We hear this week from d3vilalias!"For this week's edition trancit, I decided to display my diverse taste in dance music. This past year I have had the privilege to open for many well-known trance and progressive producers and DJs (i.e. Estiva, Ronski Speed, Paul Thomas, Kyau & Albert, Sied van Riel, Mark Eteson, etc). As an opener it is my job to prepare the room for the headliner. It is an incredibly difficult job. You can't go too soft or everyone will get bored, but you can't go too hard, or you will kill the room and tire everyone out. For this mix, I tired to display what I might play in an opening set. Mind you, towards the end, I throw in some pretty banging trance and normally I would not play this type of trance in an opening set. I start the mix deep and groovy (just way I like it), with some great tunes from Dusky, Leftwing & Kody, Robosonic and Joris Voorn.
