Jury Nullification

Did you know that regular citizens have the power to overturn bad laws, on their own, no matter what the politicians and bureaucrats want? That power is wielded in the jury. Jury duty is not, in fact, a waste of your time. It is an opportunity to change the government for the better. This is because you in the jury have the inalienable right to vote guilty or not guilty regardless of the law or facts. It is a way to add the community's common sense to the law, which is a very useful tool in reining in the government when it makes bad laws.
