Akwahba. This musical excursion is inspired by the African nation Ghana in West Africa. Ghana has produced many indigenous musicians and many jazz artists have been inspired by the first African nation to declare independence.

The mix starts off with some Ghanaian flavours, then some tributes from European artists. 'Accra Trane Station' is in the mix to test your commitment to the avant-garde. Then we round off some classic tracks from American artists.

This one’s dedicated to my daughter Esi, Stryda, Cian and my wife Juju (who didn’t turn Soweto Kinch into a chicken!).

Hi DJNG, Just wrote you a long message, which Mixcloud swallowed. Very annoying! I gotta go now - so thanks for your continued support. I’ll check the link. One love...

Please thank Mrs. DJ2tee for allowing Soweto to remain in his current form :)

Haha! We were chatting with him after a gig. When I told him my wife’s nickname, he actually said: “Please don’t turn me into a chicken”. Luckily she didn’t.

What lovely names you have in your family :) Don't seem to escape Gregory Porter wherever I go on mixcloud - which I think is a good thing - also liked the Accra Blues - Jimi Tenor just such an ambient melodic piece
