Believe it or not, this took nearly 2 months to put together. The inspiration for this mix was threefold:
1. the need for a soundtrack for my typically 55 minute COVID Lockdown 5K walk
2. San Francisco Sessions Volume 1 by Mark Farina, in terms of vibe and use of recurring vocal samples
3. news of the death of Jack Welch - his voice is lyrical and pompous - beautifully ambiguous out of context and malleable in the context of the mix.
