20130920 Sunbreak

Featuring the Stanton Warriors, this mix started brewing on a flight in New Zealand with the early sun breaking over the clouds and wings. It waited nearly a week until my return flight home after a busy week before being finally put together as a short energetic party mix.

Recorded on an iPad 2 using Traktor DJ, there were some issues with the software glitching, including a couple of momentary interface freezes that come out in the mix at 3:47 as an example of dead air while the app was ever so briefly frozen. I was also playing extensively with the Beatmasher in an attempt to understand how to use it live and have much better results than usual (but you can be the judge of that).
