17 - RADIATION

It can cause disease, it can help us to diagnose disease, and it can be used to treat disease. So, what is it? How much is too much? What is background Radiation? Join us as we take a trip back to 1903 in Paris, to tell the story of Marie Curie, physicist, chemist and pioneering researcher of Radiation. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, and she also coined the term “Radioactivity”. We dig into the science of Radiation and also explore the paradox of Radiation within medicine.
