Eze is one half of DJ duo Omaueze. Lagos-born, and Birmingham-raised, he's fast becoming a fixture in Sheffield's underground club scene - supporting the likes of Joy Orbison, Ross From Friends, and Gracie T in the last year.
His influences range from the highlife and afrobeat that surrounded him at home, to experimental producers like Rustie and Hudson Mohawke, who provided backing tracks for the poppers and lockers he admired as a child.
Early exposure coupled with endless curiosity has led him down rabbit hole after rabbit hole. The product is his ever-widening, multi-faceted style that you'd be hard-pressed to fit in one category.
In this 90 minute deep dive, Eze spans 90 to 160 bpm. Weaving post-dubstep and grime sounds with electro, breakbeat, footwork and other nu-club sounds - this mix navigates from airy and bouncy, to moody with ease.
Enjoy the soundscape!
