This is Kent release #039 in a long and continuous line of quality Soul + Rhythm & Blues. Like many young mods (...once upon a time) I spent my teenage years saving up every penny for these well packaged and expertly compiled releases.
Kent`s first LP in 1982 "For Dancers Only" featured Northern Soul Stompers, girl group floaters, male group harmony and Rhythm & Blues. The label would go on to be the best loved soul re-issue imprint in Europe and would expand it's black music horizons as far as Mod Jazz, Deep Soul, Southern Soul, 70s soul, New Breed R&B and even funk.
