Tech Report: Google On Damage Control

A 10-page anti-diversity memo was sent out by a male employee on an engineering team. The memo includes theories that there are less women in the tech industry or in leadership roles because women are biologically different than men; that a gender pay gap exists because women don’t ask for raises; women are prone to higher anxiety which keeps them from leadership roles; and numerous other ideas that link programs which encourage gender and racial equality to poorer performance at the company.
