Lauren French

Lauren French, tax policy reporter for POLITICO Pro and author of Morning tax, will discuss the likelihood of tax reform this year and what provisions may be stripped from the bill.

Lauren French is a tax policy reporter for POLITICO Pro and the author of Morning Tax.

Before joining POLITICO, she was an intern with Reuters covering national security and foreign policy and with McClatchy and The Houston Chronicle where she did stints on the Hill.

She graduated from The George Washington University in 2012 with a major in journalism, she was also a two-term editor-in-chief for The GW Hatchet.

French hails from both Illinois and Florida, which at times has caused a personal confusion over whether she is more of a Midwesterner or a Southerner.
