Busy couple of weeks coming up so we certainly will have plenty to talk about over the next few episodes, so let us get to it. This week we don’t have a cohesive theme so much as a series of thoughts and questions on the concept of permanence in relation to art. We talk about if music should be seen as something we aim to make eternal, or if art should be allowed to disappear from humanity, if notated music has a better chance of staying around longer than recordings, and if we all really care either way. Plus we check out a new demo I put together and talk about some different directions it might go in.
