Nostalgia

My original idea was to make a vocal trance set, with a lot of vocals and singing. I'm slightly (read "completely") obsessed with the song This Is The Place, by Empathy Test, and this set is built around the Thomas Datt remix of that song. I wanted to find other tracks with as much good vocal content as that one, and I wanted to make a great set with a lot of positive energy and uplifting melodies.
Turns out that this was easier said than done. At a mere 127 bpm, there's not that much trance to pick and choose from. A lot of the vocals there are were a bit too cheesy, or just not good enough. In the end, much of the set is without lyrics. There's still a lot of voices in the music, but it's mostly choirs going "ooh" or "aah" in one way or another.
I did manage to pick out melodic music with a lot of energy and positivity though. Sure, it's slower than your average trance set, but really, that's not a problem.
