Magic Machine Music

This one's nice and slow. It's good for dark rooms, candlelight, and wrapping up on the sofa with a nice warm blanket while the rain comes down outside. Bring a good book, or some nice memories, and enjoy - a nice whisky or cognac might help too.

This set began with the discover of the remix that Reefer Decree did of their track Curved Air. It's from 2013, but I only came upon it just recently. The original track is one of my all time favorite pieces of music, and I wanted to use this remix to pay tribute to it.
I wanted to make a set with just that kind of music and I wanted songs with the same deep chugging, mind-bending feeling. I tried, but let's face it, there's really nothing that quite compares to Curved Air in that department. Not even this remix lives up to the original.
Still, I tried, and I think I did pretty well. The set starts out rather deep - dark, even - and moves onwards and upwards, becoming lighter and more melodic the longer it goes.
