BOTK: 1.14.14

Despite me bungling some factual information on air (and some technical difficulties) this was one of my favorite shows.

Bungled info:

1. BOTK does not have a myspace page, but there is Facebook (Facebook.com/bloodontheknobs), Twitter (@bloodontheknobs), Instagram (@bloodontheknobs), and the blog (bloodontheknobs.com). You should check them all out but know that the blog is the best place to get links related to the music played on each week’s show (and then some). There was lots of free music to grab this week… So nab it.

2. Stephen Malkmus is playing Bottletree on March 5th, 2014. It may sell out so be sure to grab tickets at www.thebottletree.com

3. I got all my minimalist composers mixed up. The article I refer to during the show is about La Monte Young. The piece of music I played is by Tony Conrad. The article is well worth checking out and available for perusal at bloodontheknobs.com.
