Apologies for the late comments fella. The last couple of weeks have been pretty crazy and I've struggled for time :(
Boom! Boom! Boom! What a corker or a mix this is? and yet another curveball from the eclectic master! (aka Crazy Diamond). I loved the retro/old school feel to this set, propelled me right back to the late 80s and early 90s with shades of Frankie and Marshall! Floyd were one of my fav bands growing up and I loved the twist on a classic track. Not heard a dance mix of Floyd like that since the Orb remixed complete albums many years ago.
You're getting exceptionally good at this fella. You have an amazing ability to curate perfect journeys from a wonderful ear for music. There is progress and development to be found in every set you produce. Its wonderful to be part of it and I'm grateful that we get to share it with you. Top class work Stubster, top class! :)

Well someone’s got his big boy pull up pants on….because this one is indeed very grown up.
Don’t know how many times I’ve tuned into this mix now and I’ve struggled to find the words to do it justice.
A lot of the time there is real old school feel to it…but with a 21st century twist. As much as there are tracks that get you on your feet (just like the bpm of tracks back in the day) I found this set totally immersive in a way that was really relaxing…very soothing & hypnotic; a genuine journey of sound for the mind…
‘Peace of Mind’ is for me anyway, the signature tune of this set…sums the whole mix up.
This is a beautifully crafted mix by someone who truly understands music – complimented by some top notch, old school DJing skills.
I’ve been impressed before by your work….but this is special, very special indeed mate.

Interesting that you pick Peace of Mind as the centrepiece,as it signals the 2nd half of the mix,moving into a more Chicago underground vibe...at least that was what I was aiming for,as I feel the American sound needs to be represented more ::))
