After finding a bunch of my old flyers recently it occurred to me it was 28 years since I first ventured into a proper club, namely The Orbit in Leeds and it remains the most influential club I ever set foot in. I got all misty eyed and on a bit of a nostalgia trip after that so did a mix where each track reminds me of that place, so it’s full of the big, hard edged techno sounds of that era (90s/early00s) and ones that in my memory, really brought the club to its knees! The other idea was to play 48 tracks… I knew the first and last tracks I’d go with and the rest was just on the fly. Loads of fun to do and really took me back many legendary nights at The Afterdark… Orbit48RIP!
