00:00
In today's episode, Gastor sits down with JSoul.
JSoul is a producer out of Baltimore, MD. During his visit, we discussed his involvement in the DMV hiphop scene, the effects his work ethic has had on his career, and his ambitious goals for the coming year. Finally, we get to hear the new single "Satellite" from his collabo album with Wordsworth.
On what motivated him to start making music:
I was a visual artist growing up. I've been around it all my life. But I got into music because visually what I was painting, I couldn't express myself how I wanted to. My paintings weren't loud enough.
On the early start in his career:
I was doing shows every single week. I ended up falling in love with the art form.
On what his music has provided for him:
I wanted my music to take me around the world. That's what it's become now. It's my engine to see the world and to get all my thoughts out.
