The apostle Paul tells the church at Corinth that because we have become new creations in Christ that we regard no one, and I suggest, no thing, from only a human point of view. We who have been born of the Spirit can see the mustard bushes, and bamboo shoots of the gospel at work in the world. Where others see only a troublesome plant and undesirable birds, we see the tenacity of the kingdom, and the beautiful diversity of God’s people.

Where do you see the Kingdom at work? Where are the places and who are the people among whom you see the gospel coming alive? Capture an example and send the photo to Lindsay at lindsay@slumc.org. You can also bring in a photo to scan at the office. Even better, share your image on social media using #tenaciousseeds. St. Luke’s is on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram as @stlukeshickory.
